Ways to Give to SFCC Foundation

SFCCF provides a variety of options to give. You can make a tax-deductible contribution in the following ways:

  1. Contribute online by clicking here.
  2. Make a check payable to SFCC Foundation, designating your purpose in the memo line, and mail it to 6401 Richards Avenue, Santa Fe, NM 87508.

You will change a student’s life every year. Your endowed fund gives students a great education for a well-paying career. Establish a new endowed scholarship or support an existing one. Forms here.

Donate art, books, equipment, vehicles, or other property. Please check with us before making such a gift to ensure that your gift meets our needs and objectives. Click here for our In-Kind donation form.

Donors aged 70.5 or older are eligible to move up to $100,000 from their IRAs directly to a qualified charity such as SFCC Foundation without paying income taxes. (This gift is not tax deductible.) Qualified distributions must be made by December 31 of a given tax year. To make this gift, contact your plan administrator to initiate the transfer.

Build a lasting legacy by making a special gift to honor someone or in memory of a loved one.

Create a legacy by naming an SFCC classroom or building after yourself, a family or business name, or as a memorial to a loved one, favorite educator, or philanthropist.

Appreciated stocks and bonds can be used to make an outright gift or to endow a scholarship. Using appreciated securities to make a gift allows you to avoid paying capital gains tax on its appreciation. Please contact your stockbroker to make this gift to the SFCC Foundation. Create a legacy for SFCCF in your will using FreeWill with either a gift of cash or appreciated property.

  1. Name SFCC Foundation as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy, individual retirement plan, living trust, or checking account.
  2. Fund a charitable gift annuity that will provide one or two individuals income for life.
  3. Establish a charitable remainder trust that will provide one or two individuals with a variable or fixed income for life or several years.
  4. Establish a charitable lead trust that will provide the SFCC Foundation with a variable or fixed income for several years, after the trust’s principal plus appreciation passes to an individual’s loved ones.

Santa Fe Community College Foundation is a 501(c) (3) organization and donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
