Let’s Continue Our Work in 2023!

It’s the time of year when we reach out to our generous community that continues to support and help hundreds of students navigate the obstacles of pursuing a higher education degree. Throughout the years, your donations have supported students like Seth Wagner to pay for their education so they can chase their dreams and create an impactful life.

“After finishing my educational training at SFCC, I plan to use my film-making training to make inspiring videos. I also plan to make educational videos on our farm, and I also plan on using it as a medium of impacting lives in many different ways. I see my education here at SFCC as a huge opportunity, not only just to grow, but also to impact lives.I do everything to make sure my assignments are in on time and reach out to teachers when I need help, or even reaching out to any advisors that can help me along the way. Education is a huge opportunity that I want to make the most out of. It is because of generous donors such as yourself, that students such as myself who have the demands of work are able to pursue education.”– Seth Wagner

New Chapter for Higher EducationNever before has the path to a degree been more accessible and affordable in New Mexico. However, other college expenses are often more burdensome than tuition, especially now with growing inflation and increased cost of living.

Santa Fe Community College has some of the lowest tuition in the nation, yet our students still struggle with paying for their education. Housing, books, food, child care, transportation, are all expenses that stack up for our students. They still need help, and one way we can all assist this new generation of scholars is through foundation work and private scholarships.
Santa Fe Community College Foundation’s mission has always been to offer students a solution to their financial burdens using private funding. Over the past eleven years, we have grown from a $4M endowment to $12M, thanks to generous donors. This financial aid provided to students is flexible and comprehensive. Students can use this aid outside of tuition and fees so let’s continue our work as we near 2023 and continue to help our students.
